Control Room — scope statement (user, 2026-10-07)

The streaming service's job: view several screens and mix. (A separate mobile app is being developed and integrates LATER.)

Web (the "simplified OBS")

  1. Multiview grid: watch multiple live feeds simultaneously — layouts 2x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4.
  2. Audio control: pick ONE feed's audio, or MIX several audios.
  3. Program out: select what goes out — a single feed, or a mix/composite of feeds.
  4. Overlays: easily editable lower thirds; SCROLLING lower thirds (chyron); logo overlay from SVG input.
  5. Playlist fallback: schedule a playlist that plays on the PeerTube channel when no feeds are live.

Mobile (later integration)

Simple controls for putting something live — preview→program flow, "go live from preview".

Research question

Best way to incorporate this OBS-type experience (much simplified) into the existing stack: media-worker (supervisor + ffmpeg relay + signed command bus), live monitor, media-control plane, PeerTube connector.
